General notes

  1. Kasra Mahboub is an architect based in Tehran, Iran.
  2. Work starts with a soft pencil and a roll of trace. The computer comes in once an idea survives a second sheet.
  3. Every design goes through many overlays. The early ones are kept, not thrown away. They explain the later ones.
  4. A detail at 1:5 gets the same attention as the massing at 1:500.
  5. Projects and the full work record will be issued on sheets A-100 and A-200.
  6. Do not scale from this website. Ask instead.

  2. 01

    Bubbles. Where the court goes, what faces it, how you get in.

  3. 02

    Loose plan. The walls find their lines. The round pool loses to a long one.

  4. 03

    Hard-line plan. Wall thicknesses, dimensions, and a wind catcher added in revision 3.
